Fistral Retreat Branding
I was asked to design a logo and brochure for Fistral Retreat, a residential park in Newquay, Cornwall. The aim was to show peace, safety, and the beauty of the coast. The design also needed to reflect nature and sustainability.
The concept
I used soft waves from Fistral Beach as inspiration and designed a double wave symbol. The colours: blue, white, beige, and green represent the sea, sand, and greenery. The result is a logo that feels calm and natural.
Objectives
This project aimed to establish a high-end residential park targeting a discerning market seeking a tranquil and luxurious beachside lifestyle for their retirement.
Outcome
The developers loved the design right away. The double wave and soothing colors perfectly captured the park's vibe. Everything just fit together.
Recognition
The Fistral Retreat logo was chosen as the Best Hospitality Logo by DesignRush. It was a big honor.
Final thoughts
Designing this logo was a great experience.
I got to use my skills in branding and graphic design to reflect the beauty of Newquay.
