Project
For the Keep It Retro project, I was involved in various aspects of brand development, including logo design, branding, social media management, photography, and video editing. Keep It Retro is a vintage and second-hand store that opened its doors in September.
Objectives
The goal was to create a cohesive brand identity that resonates with the store's vintage theme and appeals to its target audience. In designing the logo, I utilized the imagery of the moon to symbolize retrograde, signifying a backward movement reminiscent of the vintage era. The choice of an orangy hue was inspired by retro aesthetics, evoking a nostalgic feel. Additionally, I curated the store's Instagram profile, producing funky reels with a fisheye effect reminiscent of old videos, to enhance engagement and capture the essence of the brand's retro vibe.


Outcome
Through a combination of creative design elements and strategic content creation, the branding for Keep It Retro successfully embodies its vintage aesthetic. The logo reflects the store's unique identity, while the use of orange tones evokes a sense of nostalgia. The Instagram presence, characterized by quirky reels and curated photography, further reinforces the brand's retro appeal, fostering a strong connection with its audience.
